Happiness!

Okay, so for those of you who are not aware, Japan has the best sales EVER! Really. Twice a year (I think it's twice...) all of the stores have this crazy sale. For two weeks in July (now!!) and for a couple of weeks in January everything in the frickin' city (okay maybe not everything but whatever) is on sale and alot of stores have 50% off and up. It's so great. We went out shopping for a couple of hours today because I needed new shirts for work and holy cow. I spent about $150 and this is what I bought...4 dressy tank tops, exercise pants, flip flops with little heels (so retarded yet so cute), another tank top(for a dollar), a bobble head Mr.T(for Kohsuke's boss because it was his birthday), a bobble head sea monkey (for me because I'm a dork), 2 t-shirts for Kohsuke, a designer t-shirt that I've had my eye on (regularly about $100 - today $30), a cute purse, 2 bracelets and a bunch of earrings, a keychain for Kohsuke and I think that's it. Seriously. It was so great. Oh wait, I also got a cute little dress for Lilo. Yes, I am one of those people. If I could get shoes to stay on she'd have those too.

This year I'm going to try to save up some money for the sales in January and get me a couple of the $50 grab bags from the jewellery stores. The grab bags are fantastic. Last January I bought 2 of the $20 ones and each bag contained $150 - $200 worth of merchandise. Cute silver necklaces, bracelets and earrings. I get really excited about these things because it's not just crap that they put into the bags. No, no. It's the good stuff I tell you!

Okay, I'm obviously overly excited about this whole situation so now I must go. I'm actually going to go fondle my purchases. I may roll around with thme a bit. You know how it is. Or not. Whatever.
