So we have this new puppy (who is currently chewing my leg if you were wondering) and she's adorable but oh my GOD! It chews everything! As puppies do. I know this. But really. She chews my leg, my elbow, my skirt, my hands, my arms, my ear, my neck, and occasionally my nose. And then there's the sofa, my pillow, the dresser...and so on. She's a monster. So I now call her crocodile. Her name is actually Lilo (from Lilo and Stitch of course) but I'm thinking crocodile suits her much better. And she pees! EVERYWHERE. The floor is okay because it's fake wood flooring so whatever but then there's the blankets (we were watching a movie), my pillow (sitting on the floor), her pillow (maybe giving the puppy her own pillow was premature) and so on. On the up side she's deliberately peed in her actual designated peeing area 3 times so far! Woo hoo! I can't believe that my life is such that the upside now consists solely of the crocodile peeing in her pee spot. Well, that and the cute sleepy puppy smell she gets. Too cute. Thank god she sleeps alot. Kumiko tells me that puppies sleep fpr 20 hours a day which makes me really happy. REALLY HAPPY. And she is already sleeping quietly through the night. Apparently puppies usually take a week to adjust to sleeping without their brothers and sisters piled all over the place and after the first night (which consisted of about 3 hours of sleep punctuated by long bouts of tortured puppy howls), I was thinking I might have to throw myself (or the little angel) out the window! And then last night we put her in her cage thingy and oh the howling! Seriously,I thought I might have to kill it but then 5 minutes later...sweet, sweet silence. It was fantastic. And we slept the whole night and in the morning I was almost afraid to look in case she had choked on her own tongue or something and that's where the silence came from but no! She's fine! Currently chewing my belt loop but other than that, fine.
And now I must go because I'm hungry.
