Blaagggh.

So yesterday was apparently the hottest day in the entire history of hot days in Japan. Seriously. Just how hot is the hottest day in japanese history you might ask...39.5 I tell you! Gah! What does this mean in practical terms? It means that sitting in my house breathing shallowly and not moving for ANYTHING and the air conditioner (with whom I am no longer on speaking terms) set at 20 I was still sweating. Not to mention my joy at having to haul my ass to the immigration office where I had to wait in line for about 2 hours to get my visa renewed. What does this involve? Well, I'm glad you asked. It involves Two jam-packed (not to be mistaken with action packed) trains and a stickin hot (and I mean satan's butthole hot) bus each way. Was I excited? Not so much.

And then I went to work. With the trains and the sweating and the ewww.

And what did I come home to? My castle? My haven of rest and relaxation? Nooo. Again with the not so much. I came home to a psychotic dog who was spazzing out in the spazziest of spazz freak ways. With the running and the biting and the biting and the biting and the bad dog chewing and some more biting. Good times? Had by none. Did I mention the biting?

Today was better on all accounts although the only available english tv today was a Clint Eastwood movie. And VIP with Pamela Anderson. Did I watch? Need you ask? Of course. I'm sad. But I can now read hirigana! Woo hoo! I tried for months to learn it in the fall and nothing but now...woo hoo! I'm a superstar.

Now I'm tired and I must eat. Because dinner is good. Mmm...broccoli.
